Humanitarian Support for Turkey Earthquake victims |
6th of February 2023. The whole world got that shocking news of massive earthquake in Turkey. The most effected places were Kahramanmaras and Hatay provinces in southeastern Turkey. These were 7,7 and 7,6 magnitude quakes. After some days the official statement was released by the press that, the earthquake devastation death toll to be nearly 50 thousand people. Multiple high magnitude earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria have killed over many thousands of people and devastated many houses, towns and villages. Because of the widespread damage and cold weather calls for immediate support in this humanitarian crisis. | In the face of this tragedy, Sewa Europe wants to help the people who have been affected, and calls for unified action to support the people and help them rebuild their lives.
